Le fluoformage est l’une des technologies de fabrication les plus avancées dans l’industrie des roues. La technologie de formage par flux implique l'application d'une pression sur le corps intérieur de la roue, pendant la rotation et après le moulage. Ce processus étire et comprime l'aluminium, ce qui augmente la résistance à la traction. À cet égard, le processus partage des propriétés similaires à celles trouvées dans le processus de forgeage. Le produit final est plus léger, plus solide, présente un allongement accru, une résistance aux chocs bien supérieure ainsi qu'une capacité de charge accrue par rapport aux roues coulées ordinaires.

La technologie Flow Forming présente de nombreux avantages. Konig produit des roues Flow Formed depuis 2010 et améliore constamment le processus et l'efficacité pour améliorer le produit final. Vous trouverez ci-dessous quelques tableaux visuels pour vous permettre de constater les avantages considérables en termes d'allongement et de résistance à la traction par rapport à une roue coulée ordinaire. Les chiffres utilisés sont approximatifs et uniquement à des fins de comparaison générale. Qu’est-ce que l’allongement ?
L'allongement est essentiellement la quantité de flexion qu'un objet peut avoir avant d'atteindre un point de rupture. Vous vous demandez peut-être pourquoi serait-il plus avantageux qu’une roue Flow Formed puisse fléchir davantage avant de pouvoir atteindre ce point ? Eh bien, il est important lorsque nous parlons de roues que tout le monde reconnaisse que les roues sont en métal et non magiques.
Même si cela peut être une phrase humoristique, elle est incroyablement vraie. Nous fabriquons uniquement des roues de la plus haute qualité. Konig soumet chaque conception de roue à des normes de test très strictes et construit chaque conception selon des capacités de charge supérieures à celles nécessaires pour les véhicules cibles de cette conception. Cependant, toute roue, qu'il s'agisse d'une roue de rechange ou d'une roue d'usine d'origine, a un point de rupture. Un impact violent et les impacts de contraintes au fil du temps peuvent pousser le métal jusqu'à un point de rupture.

Considering their price point, these are VERY good. I've only had them on for 2 weeks, so I cannot say about their durability, but their fit is pretty perfect without spacers (I do have centering rings, though). Was very pleased to find that they are much lighter than my OEM wheels, and they look great on the car. Two weeks total to get rims and tires delivered, which is great considering where I live. Fully satisfied with this purchase, for sure.
These wheels are a lot lighter than the stock 19s I had on from Tesla. I hope it improves my range. But even if it doesn't, they still look awesome!
i drive a 35 year old car and it is hard to find tires that still fit the original rims. all of my prior tire-sources dried up and essentially told me to buy a new car. then i stumbled upon wheel haven and not only did they have the tire/size i was looking for, they had multiple options for me to choose from.
further, hours after ordering the tires i had been using, i received a call from them and was told that they would, for a few reasons, recommend i switch to a newer version of the tire. the new tire was more expensive but they said since i already ordered the other set, they would send me the new tires at the cost of the original ones i ordered.
i can count on one hand how many times in the last 20 years, i experienced proactive customer service at this level. i have a new tire-supplier and would recommend you give them a go. absolutely top-flight.
and, it is worth noting that the new tires they recommended and sent are fabulous!
Fitment helper is inaccurate - I can confirm the rims will clear the brake calipers, though there's not a lot of room to spare.
The Mach-E's winter range is notoriously bad, so I wanted to go down to 19" wheels for the winter. The Nokian Happapeliitta R5 EV tires (which I wanted) also only go up to 19", so that was another reason.
The rims look great, and I like having the option of using the aero covers.
This is the second set of snow tires I have purchased for a second car. Last winter they were a great winter/ snow tire in New York /Ct driving conditions
Originally ordered a set of wheels that ended up being unavailable, the staff at Wheel Haven went above and beyond to find an alternative wheel that ended up being the Konig Hypergram, a much better choice for what I wanted them for. Will definitely order from Wheel Haven again.
